Whisper
This small whisper of mist carries a lantern, guiding lost travelers out of the depths of the swaps. They thrive on hope and do not eat anything. Their sole purpose is to help the wounded and to bring light to where there is none. The light inside the lap on their tail is actually a chunck of floating fungus. It is not known where they obtail the lanter or the fungus or if they are born with them.

Mangrove Crane
This crane travels in flocks, they weave in and out of the roots of mangrove trees, they are not actually birds though they do fly, they are part of a large network of trees. They are born as sap buds from the roots of the trees and whenever the tree is in danger they rush to its aid. It has been know for a Crane or two to become attached to a person and transfer their love from the tree to the person.

Swamp Protector
This pot bellied swine is made from gravel and earth. They hobble through the swamps and guard sacred places. They have an easy-going attitude and often will watch a person to see what they do before they chase the fro the area, they always will give you one chance, though no more. Some have become companions to people crossing the swamps, they will become attached to them and will leave the swamp with them.

Mud Fire/Water Flame
Mud fires are fish , they are about the size of a goldfish and are often bright red, though they can be blue and on very rare occasions have been seen as green. Some say they are the spirits of those that have drowned in that particular swamp. They glow like a little flame underwater and always swim upstream. When someone enters the water they swar them and try to lead the person to he surface of the water as though they are trying to save them from the same fate of a watery grave.
